Taste of Hillcrest

Get ready to experience this year’s most tantalizing taste event as you explore the “Taste of Hillcrest” taking place on Saturday, April 18th, 2009 from NOON to 4:00 PM. Enjoy a self-guided stroll that will take you around to some of the top chefs in San Diego, who are preparing their best dishes especially for you! From scrumptious appetizers to delectable desserts, come prepared to please your appetite. With samples created from over 40 of the area’s prominent restaurants, you are sure to find a new takeout favorite or dining hotspot. Once you’ve had your fill of savory dishes, take a break from the action to stop into over a dozen of the neighborhood’s surrounding shops participating in the 2nd Annual Sidewalk Sale, offering participants a variety of exclusive discounts and promotions. Tickets to the “Taste of Hillcrest” are just $30.00 in advance and $35.00 day of the event and proceeds benefit the Hillcrest Association.

Tickets SELL OUT EVERY YEAR so do not wait until day of event.

We will meet in the parking lot of the CA Bank & Trust . If you purchase your tickets online you will need to exchange your ticket at the Will Call window. You can also pick up maps and a recipe book.
If you purchase your ticket at any participating restaurant , you DO NOT have to exchange your ticket but can only get the recipe book at the Will Call window.

This is a fun event...lots of good food and some walking to burn it all off. We will start at one end of Hillcrest and make the circle picking and choosing as we go along. There will be something for everyone.
