The California Men’s Gathering
Invites you to a
Pool Party, Talent Show and Potluck!

Time: 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Summer is on us. It’s hot. It’s time for a pool party! Come and enjoy an afternoon swimming, sunning, gabbing and flirting by the pool. And it’s not just a pool party…we’re featuring, for the first time, the “Poolside Semi-Talent Show!” Got a song you want to perform? A drag act dying to come out? A comedy act that cracks people up? Whatever! If you can do it in limited space (keyword: Poolside) and be complete in 4 minutes 59 seconds (or less), come be a star! (We will have sound equipment for your music.) Plus we’re going to have a Potluck!

Saturday, August 8th from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
WHERE
North San Diego – Lake Murray/Cowles Mountain Area exact address will be sent to those who RSVP. The wonderful and lovely Mike K will be our host.
PARKING
There is plenty of parking on the street. The CMG encourages carpooling.
WHAT TO BRING
This is a Potluck - please bring a dish, any dish – appetizer, salad, main course or dessert - that will feed 5 men. BBQ grill will be available. The CMG will provide all drinks and paper goods. Sunscreen, towel, bathing suit if you want - this is a clothing optional event, pool toys, and your favorite (or least favorite) drag outfit.

Alcohol and drugs are not allowed at this event.
If you have never been to one of our social events, this is a great way to find out about the California Men's Gatherings and the many wonderful men who attend our three annual Gatherings and our monthly social events in San Diego . The men who attend our Gatherings and social events are a diverse group of men of varying ages, beliefs, religious traditions, and spiritual practices. We have differently-abled men and men from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds. While CMG attendees are predominately gay and bisexual, all men 18 years or older are welcome, including those who are transgender or straight.

BINGO IS BACK!! Join us in the Center’s auditorium the third Tuesday evening of every month for BINGO and help us raise funds for The Center’s programs and services!! It costs only $15 to play a 10 game pack. Plus, you can increase your chances of winning by purchasing additional game packs for only $5 each! We also feature special games like "U-Pick-Em" and "Double Action"! We give away $1000 in pay outs every week!! YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO PLAY. What's more, six lucky guests will win non-cash prizes just for walking in the door...everything from Starbucks cards to donated gift certificates to local restaurants! Our early bird game begins at 6:50pm and our regular games run from 7:00pm- 9:00pm.
